Purebred Dorper Rams reach a live weight of 90-120 kg.

The Dorper carcass has a good conformation and fat distribution. It is important to remember a ram is half your flock going forward - he will supply 50% of the genetic makeup of your entire lamb drop. Each ewe only 50% of her 1 or 2 lambs. So he is a very important part of your flock. It is vital that the ram you are using does not have any faults that he is going to pass on to his offspring, otherwise your next generation is going to contain more problems - there is not much point breeding faults which sooner or later will cost you time and money to correct. Much better to avoid them in the first place.
